At M.J. VanDamme, Inc. we have a solid foundation built on Health and Safety. Every project begins with the same goal:
to remain 100% free of injuries from the planning phases through final project commissioning. We believe that creating a successful safety culture company wide is a collaborative effort which requires the responsibility of all individuals as members of one team.
Our Approach
Establishing a successful safety program begins with having the right people to do the job. This is accomplished by providing the proper training:
- MSHA Part 48
- CPR/First Aid/First Responder Certification
- Company Developed New Employee Orientation Training
- Individual Task Training
In addition to training, site specific safety programs are implemented at each jobsite location. All M.J. VanDamme crews operate on the Permit-to-Work system, utilizing Safe Work Procedures and Tool Box Meetings to eliminate hazards and risks.
